The latest stop in our never-ending journey to find the perfect wine was Yarra Valley, situated one hour east of Melbourne. After our weekend trip to the Great Ocean Road, we decided to visit Yarra Valley on the following Monday to see what it’s all about.
Back in May, barely a month after ending our seven-month trip around the world, we already felt the urge to get moving again. We opted to rent a car for the weekend, and head to Torquay, the beginning of Australia’s Great Ocean Road.
Packing is a hassle, often leaving you with a barely closable luggage and a messy room. When considering a long backpacking trip, you will need think and research what exactly to purchase. Then, after buying the needed materials, you will have to go through a couple packing rounds as packing lightly is a necessary but not easy task. The most important thing to ask yourself when packing is whether the item is practical and multipurpose.
Due to our unexpected visit to Fiji, our stay in Sydney was limited to two days only. But, since we arrived well rested from our business class flight, we decided to go explore right away.
Our last stop before settling down in Melbourne was supposed to be Sydney. After flying out from Seattle and than Los Angeles, we landed in Fiji at six in the morning. Our transfer to Sydney was not for another three hours, so exhausted we laid down to catch some sleep.
We, Mark & Herta, are currently backpacking through Europe, and eventually planning to settle in London. Beyond that? The possibilities are endless.
